Parents use the email address and password used when the RuthNel account was created. Parent sign-in opens the Parent Dashboard.

How your RuthNel family login works
Parents and children use different login methods. The parent controls the family account; each child enters the Academy with the private Family Code plus their own 4-digit PIN.

Find your Family Code
Your private Family Code is shown near the top of the Parent Dashboard. It starts with RN-. Copy it and keep it inside your household.

Each child has a PIN
When you add a child profile, you choose a private 4-digit PIN for that child. The PIN is not the parent's password.

Child login
On the login page choose the child login option. Enter the family's Family Code, choose the child profile and enter that child's 4-digit PIN.

Learning & progress
The child learns inside their own profile. Progress, certificates and achievements stay connected to that child profile and can be viewed by the family.

Keep login details private
Do not post or share the Family Code, child PINs, passwords or private account details publicly. RuthNel staff will never ask a child to share a password or PIN inside the AI Tutor.
Important: A Family Code is not a password and should still be treated as private household information. If you need help finding your code or accessing a child profile, email info@ruthnel.co.za.

Where do I find the Family Code?
Sign in as the parent and open the Parent Dashboard. The Family Code is displayed in the Family Code panel.
Does every child need a different Family Code?
No. The household uses one Family Code. Each child has their own profile and 4-digit PIN.
Should my child use my parent email and password?
No. Children should use the child login with Family Code + their own PIN.
I forgot a PIN. What do I do?
Use the parent-controlled profile tools in the Parent Dashboard or contact RuthNel support if you need assistance.
